Welcome to Superteam Korea's August 2025 monthly report, highlighting the latest activities of Superteam Korea and the growing interest from Korean markets and builders in the Solana ecosystem.

As the Korea delegation of the Solana Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering founders, developers, and creatives to build a thriving Web3 community and establish Korea as a key player in the Solana ecosystem.

Superteam Korea expanded its educational initiative with two specialized Dive into Solana sessions. Session #2 took a comprehensive ecosystem approach, covering Solana's ecosystem, Internet Capital Markets roadmap, and stablecoin infrastructure. The session featured @decentra1ized_, @Kvn_Yoo, and @peppercrunch as speakers

Session #3 was a developer-focused session with speaker @kimant420, exploring Solana's architecture from a programmer's perspective and providing hands-on programming experience for participants to understand the network's innovative technology.

Xitadel has been selected for Chainlink Build + Build on Solana. As one of the first members of "Build on Solana”, Xitadel will gain enhanced access to Chainlink oracle services, technical mentorship, and go-to-market resources to strengthen their Liquid Treasury Tokens (LTTs) on Solana.

Bitlayer hosted a Seoul meetup at Merkle on August 19th. The event featured Bitlayer co-founders Charlie Hu and Kevin He, presenting their Bitcoin DeFi journey, BitVM bridge technology innovations, and future roadmap for Bitcoin's computation layer.

The highlight of the evening was the announcement of Bitlayer-Solana BitVM bridge integration and YBTC on Solana partnership, marking a significant moment for Bitcoin liquidity expansion into the Solana ecosystem. The panel discussion with Scott from Superteam Korea and Mike from Orca explored the future of BTCFi and the emerging multi-ecosystem DeFi summer, demonstrating growing cross-chain collaboration opportunities

Superteam Korea participated in Super Tokyo 2025, with Superteam Korea Lead Scott moderating a panel discussion on Solana stablecoins for PayFi, onchain money, and the transformative future of payments and savings.

The session explored how stablecoin infrastructure is reshaping financial services and creating new opportunities for decentralized payment solutions.

Superteam Korea participated in Barun Law Stablecoin Regulatory Workshop titled: Global Regulatory Trends and Business Landscape for Stablecoins. The workshop addressed the evolving regulatory environment for stablecoins, covering global compliance frameworks, the EU's MiCA regulations, and domestic market considerations.

The three-session program featured expert speakers discussing regulatory trends, stablecoin policy directions, and payment system innovations, concluding with Superteam Lead Scott addressing the present and future state of global stablecoin payment systems.

PDAO, the POSTECH based crypto-blockchain community, hosted "PDAO in Seoul!" on August 23rd, bringing together university students and blockchain professionals for networking and knowledge sharing.

Superteam Korea sponsored the event, with Superteam Korea Dev Captain Boosik serving as one of the featured speakers alongside other industry professionals.

The lineup included speakers from leading Web3 companies: Yang Jun-ha (Hyperithm CTO), Lee Hyung-yeon (B-Harvest CEO), Boosik (Orca SRE & Superteam Korea Dev Captain), and Kim Hyun-woo (Kaia SWE). The event provided an accessible introduction to the crypto-blockchain industry for newcomers.

Superteam Korea will be opening applications for Startup Village on August - a full-stack camp for Web3 founders! 🚀

This event runs from September 14th to 20th (7 days), offering an all-in-one week of hackathon prep, demo-day pitch practice, and mentor masterclasses. This isn't just another "conference" - it focuses on securing real traction with customers, investors, and networks.
