Superteam Korea Insights: July 2025 Ecosystem Update
Welcome to Superteam Korea's July 2025 monthly report, highlighting the latest activities of Superteam Korea and the growing interest from Korean markets and builders in the Solana ecosystem.
As the Korea delegation of the Solana Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering founders, developers, and creatives to build a thriving Web3 community and establish Korea as a key player in the Solana ecosystem.
Monthly Highlights
(1) Solana Institutional Media Day - Internet Capital Markets
The “Solana Institutional Media Day – Internet Capital Markets” event at Hashed Lounge wrapped up successfully.
Industry leaders from R3, Barun Law, Solana Foundation, Superteam Korea, KODA, Open Asset, Shinhan Securities, Mirae Asset Securities, Reap, and Shinhan Card took the stage.
Speakers explored tokenization, stablecoins, digital assets, custody of tokenized assets, capital-market tokenization, and the future of payments powered by stablecoins.
Korean financial institutions packed the venue to capacity, signaling overwhelming enthusiasm for the Solana ecosystem and its growing role in institutional capital markets.
(2) Trepa Wins First Prize in Colosseum Consumer Track & Entry to Colosseum Accelarator
Trepa (@trepa_jo) captured first prize in the Colosseum's Consumer Track, distinguishing itself among a highly competitive cohort and earning a grant of 25,000 USDC.
Trepa advanced to the Colosseum Accelerator, a testament to their potential and a platform to further develop their project. The Accelerator provides invaluable resources and mentorship, positioning Trepa as a prominent player in the global Web3 landscape.
(3) Xitadel Successfully Closes Builders Round
@xitadel_fi has successfully closed their Builders Round, supported by top Solana ecosystem builders including Anatoly yakovenko. Xitadel, is working hard to reshape the future of next-gen DeFi on Solana
(4) Superteam Korea Community Revamp
To foster a healthier Solana ecosystem, Superteam Korea has restructured its Telegram community to prevent spam and phishing while enabling more focused information sharing.
The existing channels, including Solana Builders, Superteam Korea Public and the Superteam Korea Discord Channel, were closed on July 20, 2025 at 11:59 PM KST as part of this transition.
The new community structure features two distinct channels: the Solana Builders Group, an invite-only channel designed for open discussions on the Solana ecosystem, dev/tech Q&A, event promotion, and community engagement, and Superteam Korea Public: an admin-only, read-only Telegram channel dedicated to official announcements for hackathons, grants, and offline events.
(5) Guild Leads Round 2

The onboarding of our guild leads for Superteam Korea has been successfully completed! Superteam Korea will be opening applications for Startup Village on August - a full-stack camp for Web3 founders! 🚀
This event runs from September 14th to 20th (7 days), offering an all-in-one week of hackathon prep, demo-day pitch practice, and mentor masterclasses. This isn't just another "conference" - it focuses on securing real traction with customers, investors, and networks.
