Superteam Korea Insights: June 2025 Ecosystem Update
Welcome to Superteam Korea's June 2025 monthly report, highlighting the latest activities of Superteam Korea and the growing interest from Korean markets and builders in the Solana ecosystem.
As the Korea delegation of the Solana Foundation, we are dedicated to empowering founders, developers, and creatives to build a thriving Web3 community and establish Korea as a key player in the Solana ecosystem.
Monthly Highlights
(1) Solana APAC Summit
Solana APAC Summit took place from June 5-7, 2025, at KOI Resort & Residence in Da Nang, Vietnam. This three-day beachfront event brought together over 1,000 attendees and 100+ speakers for hands-on workshops, fireside chats, and networking across the Solana ecosystem.The summit featured specialized tracks including a DePIN Mini Summit, Gaming Village with live demos, and a VC Demo Day where hand-selected teams pitched to venture capitalists. Superteam Korea was represented at the summit, with Lead Scott Lee serving as a moderator in a session.
Following the Solana Apac Summit in Danang, Superteam Korea partnered with Outlaw, a global corporate advisory firm specializing in Web3, AI and Gaming, to host an exclusive social mixer event. The event successfully brought together approximately 70 attendees, including numerous VCs and industry professionals.
The key focus of this social mixer was to connect Superteam Korea projects with international projects and VCs, creating valuable networking opportunities in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
(3) Xitadel selected as 20X20 at APAC Summit
Xitadel has been selected for the prestigious 20 × 20 showcase at Solana APAC Summit, securing one of only twenty five-minute presentation slots before an audience of leading venture-capital firms.
The 20x20 showcase represents one of the most competitive pitch opportunities in the APAC region, where 20 top startups present to 20 leading venture capital firms in a curated private pitch event.
(4) Botanica selected as 20X20 at APAC Summit
Hot on Xitadel’s heels, Botanica has also earned a place in the same 20 × 20 cohort. earning a five-minute pitch slot before top investors such as Mechanism Capital and Foundation Ventures
While Xitadel re-architects treasury liquidity, Botanica brings real-world impact to the stage with its AI-powered storage network.
Xitadel & Botanika demonstrates the growing strength of Korea's Solana ecosystem.
(4) Soon SVM event
Superteam Korea co-hosted an evening mixer with SOON, bringing together key crypto players across Korea for networking and collaboration.
The event successfully connected KOLs, developers, NFT collectors, community members, and ecosystem partners in a relaxed yet high-signal environment for builders.
(5) Superteam Korea X BAY(Blockchain at Yonsei) coding session
The Superteam Korea X BAY coding session was a compact, two-hour builder sprint designed to fast-track newcomers into the Solana universe.
Hosted by BAY(Blockchain at Yonsei) in collaboration with Superteam Korea, Our Dev captain @boosik Briefly introduced the mechanisms of solana network. Followed by @mongdang dev lead from BAY who led attendees through cloning an Anchor program, deploying it, and interacting with their first on-chain solana program
(6) Web3 Designer Pizza Meetup with Superteam Korea
The Web3 Designer Pizza Meetup held on June 19th marked the revival of a community gathering that hadn't taken place for 2 years.
This special reunion brought together designers working across Korea's Web3 landscape to reconnect, share experiences, and network with fellow creatives in the space. The Earn program from Superteam was introduced to the designers so they can be part of the Solana ecosystem
This meetup represents Superteam Korea's commitment to supporting all aspects of the Web3 ecosystem - not just builders
